This was a very poetic read and had great illusions. I liked how the princess was depicted and how the character was dynamic despite her public appearance. the time period chosen was also very interesting and described a lot of what was happening. I use this series for the Girl Scout JR badge Playing the past but I tell girls this is not a very exciting book and can be a dry read before they choose this novel.
