This book is one I recommend to everyone!!!! The plot is so rich and the lessons behind the book are very deep. Although it is a Teen novel I think most adults should read this book. I read it in middle school after a teacher asked me to and it changed the way I looked at things. I identified with a character which leads t some profound personal realizations. After reading this book Julia Ann Peters became a favorite author of mine and I continue to watch out for her books when I scan the discount stores shelves.
