Sorceress was an amazing read! I read these books out of order and was still blown away by the characters detail, the plot line, historical relevance, and the themes. The deeper theme being; how do we record history and get our historical "fact" is it through science and written history, oral traditions, or are we open to the possibility of something else...

Witch Child is the book I read second and it opened my eyes to the series major themes and was astonishing. I read this as I was finishing my History 101: Dynamics of History course at Notre Dame University and it made me question what exactly is "provable" documentation for a historical paper. the book was not only a great read from a fantasy point of view but also from an intellectual point of view. I pondered at the Historical relevance and accuracy this book has and whether fiction is its write genre...
