Shine was a true piece of art. It conveyed some very touchy subjects with the care and honesty that we have all come to expect to from our writers. The book was in your face but it didn't leave you shaking after the fact, although it did change perspectives. I would recommend this book to anyone who liked Julia Ann Peters works.
