This author has a great way of writing a romance novel that actually has substance, not just about the romance but the individuals themselves. I would suggest this novel and her other novels to even the most conservative mother for a young teen or a person who is simply tired of reading books that focus too heavily on the romance of the novel. I was a little lost after I decided to read Princess and the Hound before this novel because I was under the impression they were a series. They are not!
