Kushiel's Avatar
Rating: 6/6
I first read Kushiel's Dart in 6th grade and did not find the second book until I was well into my JR year and continued to seek out the next books with a passion. It continued to shape my perceptions of reality and many great themes in the sexual and spiritual world. It challenged my thoughts on abuse and childhood and innocents. I started this book on March 29, 2008, and finished April 16, 2008. This book is just another epic addition to a great book. It made my mouth water to the next book.
Memorable Quotes:
" Jocelin's Arms rose unbidden, holding me hard about the waist. "to damnation and beyond," he whispered, hot against my belly. "I have sworn it." The sound that caught in his throat, might have been a laugh, or not. " As if I'd had the slightest idea what that meant." -page 279-
"There are places inside of us, " I said, picking my words with care, "that are frighteing, places no one should go. In darsanaga, I had to go to that place and ... Imri, its hard to find one's way back. I'm trying. But it is not easy. can you understand?" - Page 456-
"Some Chains are forged for us. Those are the hardest to bear." -page 548-
