I read this in my 10 grade English class with Mr. Pappas who was an excellent teacher. This was not my first dystopia book but it was the first time I had been given words to analyze a book and categorize them. A little late to the curveball but at least I got there. The book was a great introduction to the ideas of Ego and socially normal. it begged readers to ask who they were outside of their community and inside of it. (Just in case Pappas see this thank you, you taught me the basics of grammer and it helped)
