The Raging Quiet
Rating: 5/6
This book left nothing to be desired but in the end it was a book that got you back in touch with your feelings. If you don't cry at the end i will be surprised.
This book was a great read with many good qualities. The only reason it's not a 6 is due to the language used not being to my 100% liking. Although it was not inappropriate in any way. I enjoyed the plot and found it enlightening. I can still recall the plot 10 years after I read it. The writing was artful but a bit dry and took a moment to adjust to. I would suggest this to any person who would like to learn more about special needs in the earlier time periods. The way people were treated and how peasant life was truly.
I believe I read this book in about 4 days but sadly my record lacks in time lines on the earlier logs.
I picked this book out of the school library. I liked the school library because it did not have late fees and often I could not get to the library after school due to my scouting obligations. I was judging books by their covers and this seemed to be romantic in nature so I picked it up.
